I'm going to buy a diesel either 306 hdi, or a VAG with the 130 unit. Thevag will be about 3 grand more, and i will be a bit skint if i spend that much!

But in the long run what do people recommend?

DO NOT GO FRENCH

Speaking from having both a VAG (130TDi) and a french dci, the 130 is a stunning engine. Im getting another 130 because I loved it soo much
