yeah thought about that too, kind of wanting to get the aerosol from halfords though, so a car paint code would be ideal

Closest I can think of was a shitty Emerald Green used on Citroen ZXs.

Halfords will do a custom mix if you want them to
I'd suggest starting with Rover Jade green as a start.

yeah thought about that Robin, but i will need at least 4 cans as i am spraying some wheels for my brother, so a custom mix would have to fill 4 cans and they would need to be the same or extremely similar.

Pug 205 GTi came in a nice limited edition metallic green IIRC

You can get the colour matched as it would just be a custom metalic green. But the reason why you go for a Kandy is because of the depth and pearlescent effect you get with the colour. It just can't be replicated with any other technique.

They could mix all the paint in one batch and fill the cans up all from the same paint. Saying that though, if all the paint was mixed using the same machine and the same colours then there would be little to no difference anyway.

Last time I had some it was done by hand, by weight, and it wasn't particularly accurate.
However, if it's not got to match anything, that wouldn't matter, as the whole batch would be the same, it just might not be the same as the colour it's supposed to replicate (if it was)

ill propose it to my brother and see what we can get sorted.
may have them painted over the weekend.
and ED, i know what your saying about the actual candy process etc- silver base, clear green top for depth with christ knows how may coats. but i was mainly just after a nice coloured metallic green that is the same shade as Candy Apple.
