In your opinion,

Is it worth decatting a 1.6 corsa?

Ive heard it can make the exhaust quite raspy,
also what about MOT time, bit of a pain having to change it over?

all for what 4bhp?

Just curious

Yes 100% worth it. It's the top end where it's all at.

3 to 4k a little raspy.

But if your taking it steady in traffic then your changing at 2k.

When you dive it death your at 4.5k.

Cant agree enough, especialy when its modded. when i swapped it back over to a cat pipe for the MOT it didnt pull aswel and just gave up at high revs

had a decat with straight through center and big old back box on my 1.4 16v had a fueling problem and had a little bit of flame on rev limmiter, for ease i have now sorte fuel problem, fitted janspeed center and rear, and put a sport cat on it. does the same job as a decat but sorts out the gasses and wont fail a mot.

1000% agree with that.
Thats exactly where my exhaust rasp is.

With a cat fitted theres no rasp at all.
