what good Diesels are there that do around 0-60 in 8 seconds or less?

Think you'll struggle to get one that does 0-60 in under 8 sec's. Maybe one of the newer Audi's with 170bhp?

suppose any 2.5 or 3ltr turbo diesel would do the trick, one like the new Audi or BMW

My mates got a new style seat Ibiza that will easily do it in under 8 secs

Golf PD 150 does it in 8.6's apparently.

Other than that your looking at possibly a 2.5--3L car but even then it will be bigger/heavier!

A skoda VRs or Ibiza FR TDi remapped will do it no probs

it definatly quicker than that, i dont care what the book says, i reckon 8.5 is more like it, besides its a lot lighter than the golf with the same power output so should be quicker

ive beaten fabia vrs's in mine and today i found out its quite under my power expectations 8.5 is quite optamitsic

besides the mini cooper is around 9 seconds iirc and it sails past that on the top gear test.

0-60 really isnt what to base most diesels on anyway
