Yeah about the slow thing..My corsa atm is a 1.0 12v GLS. Can't get much slower.

What car should I look at that's around the same price and won't completely rape me for insurance? Not just a corsa but any good looking/performing car

I haven't actually seen one up close. They just remind me of the Astra sxi really, my mum has one of those and I like

1.7 would be too much to insure for me surely? Only been driving 3 months.

The 1.3 diesel engine in the Corsa is a far better engine than the 1.2 petrol. Much cheaper to run, much cheaper to insure and arguably a better drive

Just made me laugh thats all. Chances are he hasn't driven either of these and is saying that you will regret not getting the VXR.

Also the price difference aswell.

SXI from £10k
VXR from £15.5k

I dont think anyone if they drove both would choose the petrol over the diesel. There amazing wee engines and 6 speed box is nice too.

Yeah, SXI I was looking at was brand new, £8,995. Not bad and I personally do think they look pretty nice.
