no, because the A3 hardly looks like an eos, by guess is it will be a 3 door A3 without a roof

There isn't a normal EOS though. Isn't it just a Golf/Passat convertible?

EOS is based on the golf platform.

no, eos uses mk5 golf platform, but looks nothing like either fo them

And why would Audi base an A3 cab on something that isn't even an A3, they would base it on a Golf surely.

Because people are stupid. The fail to realise that car manufacturers use similar front ends and design flair on thier range of vehicles as a kind of branding.
