I don't suppose anybody has stayed in a hostel in Dublin?

I'm off there in Feb and was after some recommendations.

I stayed in a Days Inn, but that was a hotel.

Was just off O'Connell Street.

IIRC wasnt mega expensive, cant really remember.

Although as Nath says, it was a very sociable place. Not what you would expect of a hostel that gave you this initial impression really.

Flights and 2 nights in a Hostel is working out around £95, can't argue with that

Im not sure who you would normally find in them though.

This was full of students and a few older folk which we didnt really see much. There was 45ish Notts Trent people and 130 Cardiff Uni people so mainly saw them.

I'd expect there to be students and backpackers and stuff. To be honest it'd be just a place to crash and shower. We'd be out for the rest of the time.

Our shower was shocking It took you about an hour to have a decent shower because you could piss faster than the water came out.

Plus the toilet was backwards im sure someone took a picture of it. Basically, if you wanted to shit into the water bit of the toilet, youd have to sit on it backwards and face the cistern

That could happen, possibly, but you try to make friends before they rape your ass. Id say that was the best bet.
