Without this turning into another hate filled thread lets keep chit chat to a minimum, jus putting this in here to show that people walk away from big mph smashes. we are so lucky , the engine ended up 50 yds away

No matter how fast a 106/saxo are round the twisties i'd rather be in something more substantial in a crash tbh.

they arent all that bad for a car of its size and class, no worse than a corsa b anyway

Maybe.
I crashed at high leptons in a corsa c and the car wasn't too bad, I was unscathed.

Go look in your local salvage yard, look at some smashed up 106's, then at some smashed up corsas, then come back and tell me your thoughts.

il go and look at the ncap results for both cars instead.
comparing cars in a scrappy is stupid as a) one might be designed to crumple more than the other, b) you dont know what kind of crash they've been in

I really never knew how they got the same rating in the ncap, 106's always seem to be utter wreck, no matter what crash sitiation they are in.
My brothers girlfriends one snapped in half when she crashed at 50mph
