They start about 15k Brett for a really ropey Y plate with no options, decent spec'd cars start around 17k for a 51er

I'll be buying one next week I think Brett, looking at an 04 plate with all the options, not worth buying a basic car IMO

Well, I've driven a few already, your probably be upset with the 'fun' factor to be honest, but they are easier to drive than our cars, more civilised in town etc. Just don't expect to be grinning! I'm like you, fed up of idiotic people trying to 'race' me by driving right up my arse etc, fed up of the fuel consumption and general costs.

Basic spec and horrible coloured leather! Also if you go for a pre 2003 make sure it's had the recalls done, they had bearing failure issues etc.

Extras are 19s, smg, sat nav/tv professional or business, Harmon Kardon, centre arm rest, folding mirrors, blue tooth. Anything else is standard so don't let someone tell you cruise, electric seats etc are extras.

Yeah you will get what you pay for. A well spec'd later car is still higher 20s early 30s. Don't forget a 2001 car is pretty old now, and with high miles and shit spec isn't exactly cheap at 16-17k!

Yep, I think people forget how old 51 regs etc. are!

Brett mate, it just wouldnt have been the car for me... I needed domehtign to do the daily commute and something more fujn for other days etc and the M3 just wasnt gonna be special enough for the 2nd car considering what else i could have gotten (T350C was the plan but personal circumstances have now prevented that lol)

After an Elise 111R now

Will do

I've shown M3's a thing or two in the past, but i'm not after all out power anyway. Just something classy with a bit of kick still (can't go totally cold turkey from the power).
