IIRC the Ibiza Cupra is 150bhp and the Cupra R 180bhp? And it would be at the fly.

If it was at the wheels, it would have MORE bhp so if I was you I'd be hoping it's not the fly

If it's a Cupra R then yeah it'll be just about standard. If it's the normal Cupra then it has been tuned.

Manufacturers figures are always at the fly because it's a more attractive number in the brochure.

Mk3 cupra: 156bhp @ fly
mk3 cupra r: 180bhp @ fly

both remap to ~200bhp as they use the same turbo and IC. Only difference at standard is the R runs more boost.

Mine had an exhaust system fitted by the previous owner , but he knew nothing about the remap. So it was just a remap on a standard engine

when they get the bhp figers for the fly wheel you have to remember they run the engine in a dino room it is running with no belts or bolt on's e.g. gear box, alternater and no air con if it cums with it. this is how they get the figers up (scam lol)

Gregor> I doubt its been remapped, i reckon it has a Cupra R ecu, or the rollers were overreading. What did it make at the wheels?
