been given two options on sorting that rear arch and bit of sill out...

1) there is a place called fine finish that qouted me about £300 to spray my replacement door and sort the arch and sill with filler. but they cannot gurantee the work as it is fillered and the rot can come back.

2) a place called the docwra brothers who are ment to be really really good qouted me about £500 to but a whole new quarter panel on and spray it. probably wont cost much extra to get the door done too.

opinions anyone

Option 2

Filler shouldnt be something to be used to cover up rust, it should be cut back to good metal and replaced.

option one is only a temp fix, depending on how badly rusted it is, it may only last a few months before it scabs thru again. at best a couple of years.

option 2 is the best option

gd price also

if its just very light scabby on the surface then it can certainly be repaired, ie rust removed and cleaned down and fillered over.

but permanently the new panel is the only solution
