My cousin came to pick up the XE today. He drove it away at about 4pm. I'm pretty gutted, but glad to see the back of it at the same time. He's aware it needs a bit of work, and he'll be carrying that out over the next couple of weeks.
Bit of history: -
Bought the car with super low mileage, and paid over the odds from Wolverhampton Vauxhall. Left it standard for a few weeks, then added some TSW alloys. Spax suspension followed. Then, V6 Brakes went on along with a Mantzel. A Janspeed manifold and de-cat followed.
Few months down the line and a trip to Oldham to see Beardy and it came back with a ported and polished head, and some courtenay cams.
It made 132 on the rollers and was a hoot to drive. After a bit of trouble with the 1.6, and me seeing my arse with it, it went in Beardys again for a Redtop fitted.
So, here she is in her former glory.......bye bye CBA

Depends how you look at it Deano. Needed a car cheaper to insure, run and look after.

May be then - will be more comfortable than a Corsa B tbh if it's newer.
1.4 Corsa C SRi's are cheap on insurance.
