apparantly the astra sri 1.8 is quicker to 60 than the 2.0, can anyone explain this?i know the 2.0 only has 10bhp more but the is has alot more torque.would the 2.0 be quicker once its going,say 30-70 than the 1.8?

ah right,so i'm guessing its geared more for the motorway etc?

didnt mean it like that mr glasgow_corsa_c just trying to work out whether the 2.0 is worth the extra insurance etc.dont want a car thats going to fly to 60 but then be revving its nuts off.

a 2.0 will sit at lower revs on the motorway etc than a 1.8
