I have two choices with regards to my 106 at the moment. Fit gasflowed head and cat cam with S1 inlet and buy a 1.3 ecu and loom, maybe run it on the base map. It would be a bit of an experiment though but id probably be looking at a remap in order to achieve around 130-140bhp. My other option is to sell the head and bits, probably gather around 500 quid with which I could buy a 16v and probably an uprated manifold and pay to have it converted for about the same price as a remap. Wouldnt be an 8v Rallye anymore though But probably instantly quicker. Cant help but think it would be a nice combo on my group a mounts with the 1.3 box and LSD. Hmmm. What do you guys reckon?

16v : - much more future scope and better base to work on.

Thats what Paul said, which is true. 160bhp was a good figure for his mods.

160 is fairly easy but may as well just go straight for TB setup after its been in a while
