Should of gone a scrappy and got some cav/calibre calipers and just bought new discs and pads would be about what you've paid for them.

Even after bleeding them they were still poo compared to a car with disc brakes all round

I think v6 brakes would have been better

Disagree. Although they arn't great, they vastly improve the brakes.

Greenstuffs, arn't much better than standard, but they are better, and give bugger all dust compared to standard items.

I bought the same setup years ago, then bought V6 setup and sold onto my friend. His car stopped so much better, and from flat out speeds it didn't suffer fade at all.

I still rated it as a much better setup than a V6 288mm jobbie. Better pedal feel, and less fade after hard usage.

Sounds like he got it for cheap anyway, so a good buy i'd say. Just beware of the discs warping.

Same here, my old AP's were pretty dear. Think my current AP discs/pads retail for £580+vat just for the fronts!
