Yup, just a minor one. It's a 1.3 Fiesta, ex-police car and to be fair it fucking chipped.

He told me that his engine blew round a bend, he hit a tree, flipped the car and it just rolled. I don't know if thats bullshit but to be fair he is lucky to be alive. All he got was a dead leg.

He used to drive like a dickhead so he deserved it

What has the engine got to do with it cutting out and flipping. To be fair, the steering on them is hydraulic, so would go extremely heavy if the engine cut out BUT it wouldn't make you flip.

He was going too fast for the road, conditions and his ability.

imho of course.

Couldn't agree with you more, deano. He blamed the engine but even I asked how that would make him hit a tree and flip. He took me out in his car for 10 mins and nearly had 3 crashes, didn't go in it again as I like being able to walk.

Like I said, he deserved it! He's a very lucky boy.

Fair enough, if his steering went, he may have lost control hitting a tree, but why would it flip? (Obviously I'm not expert).

Any news from the insurance as to the status of the repair?

He said that he told the insurance company that he sold the car abroad, some bollocks like that.

I think the tree was slanted and he just went up a bit of it and rolled it.

Not sure how much I believe him in either of those comments though.

Once again, when it comes to him and the car, I couldn't agree more

He said "It's ok, Mum said she is buying me a better one"

Wow..Just wow.

tbh, mine wasn't much and isn't much. Yet I've been 2 do shows

Some people don't even have Corsa's. Seriously, you'd be more than welcome - especially as you took a harsh comment on the chin etc in your first thread.

There is a meet in the South East thread on Sunday, check it out

Theres no other way I could have taken it. I'm about as in the know as a stick when it comes to cars, but i'm on here to learn a little and start sortin my car out and get a project goin.

Learn the basics and it'll come.

I'll look into that mate, corsa-joel (or whatever his name is) is my best mate so i'll speak to him about it
