I find it comical that folk stick old small size usually with old/nackered tyres on for the months you'll need grip the most!

I wouldnt expect anything other from you Des, but ive seen it with my own eyes local folk sticking old steelies/alloys on that have been sat in the shed for 2 yrs+ & with shocking, uneven, different stye of tread. Must cause some folk to crash fitting 'winter' wheels

Another reason I dont bother is I dont tend to keep hold of cars that long to see them over 1 whole summer & winter! I just enjoy what ive got to the max while ive got it

Some wheels are more prone to salt etc. if I had something rare then I would do it but then I wouldn't be using the car at all if it was that rare

black wheel's so you dont have to wash them as often too

My new wheels will be going on if I sell the T12's

If not I'l keep the new ones in the garage till after the winter months and darn gritters are about!

but your others cost a lot so why not show them off all the time. its like buying a 42inch telly and covering up half of it
