south east areas arent really gonna be effected, they are closing the tidal wall across the thames to be on the safe side, all 8 warnings have been issued along ne and e anglia coastlines

Ill ignore the flood warnings we've had then, as im only a mile or two from the water in north kent, and i'll sleep peacefully now.

im less then a mile from Redcar costline on the north east.......nothing said up here at all

Was EXTREMLY windy last nighty, huge gales bending the trees as far as i'd seen so far. Can imagine the seas being quite high, but not high enough to break the barriers.

dont think daimo quite gets why the seas were going to be so high. Its not just a case of high wind
