I Had fluid power steering on mine originally and it was good
I then fitted a non PAS rack and the feel was better but a complete pain to manouver and was a handfull driving quickly and changing gear.
I now have a full EPAS system from a corsa C and it is fantastic. its light at low speeeds and heavier at higher speeds, lacks the feel of the fluid based PAS but weighs a lot less and is far more reliable and less drag on the crank, so more power.

without for sure, apart from making 3 point turns then it would be best with..

but defferently without imho i like the "feel"of it when i go into a corner

and all the power steering weigh's a bit so i like to think am saving a few kgs and added a few mph's

I had the basic PAS on my old 1 litre club and it was ok. The newer version on my C as above feels much better. Feels alot more weighty at speed, but dead light and easy to manovure (sp) at low speed. Definately with for me.

I've got EPS on my SXi. I took the fuse out a while ago normal driving didn't seem much different, manuvering isn't as bad as I expected, not as good as with PAS but easy enough to live with. It felt better on country roads etc.

I put the fuse back in a while ago, it felt awful to drive. No feel at all. Felt as if the steering wheel wasn't connected. I decided then that the fuse is staying out till I'm selling it

I'd much rather have to put a bit more effort in when manouvering, than have the power steering.

I enjoy driving my car without power stearing, the only thing that lets it down is on the spot turns etc. I feel more in control compared to many power stearing cars i have driven as they feel abit too responsive at times........
