To support the poppy campaign and get a poppy on your phone, text LEGION to 85552.
It donates £1.50 to the appeal.
Cheers.

White poppy is for peace though, does it bear much relevance to remembrance day?

hammer knows exactly what he's doing the white poppy is seen as much more than a symbol for peace in unionist communties
therfore he is trying to get a rise out of me
i say remember the dead however you wish just aslong as you remember their sacrifice

Yes
It's the alternative to the red poppy as a mark of respect for Rememberance Day. Common misconception is it shows a lack of respect but there are people that actually wear both as they wish to remember yet show their displeasure at the lack of peace in the world.

We are selling Poppys at work. Every time I am there I put loose change in. And I paid near on £2 for my actual Poppy. Don't wear it though as I have more than 1 coat/jacket etc. Instead it is threaded threw my air freshener in my car hanging from the rear view mirror
This is a great cause I always try and donate to.

Good way of generating money, but I think people wearing a poppy is a better way of rememberance rather than yet another premium rate text number
Wearing a poppy is not much to ask & it shows respect. Texting a number is a soloution to a problem that never existed

tbh i aint supporting it. if we had lost the war, we would have been born german, so it wouldnt matter to us anyway. waste of a quid really.

theres always old men who are wearing medals asking for donations. so im guessing they were from the war so i always slip a few quid in their box when im out.
i feel sorry for them collecting for their friends who died along side them in the war
