Raced a 106 GTi this evening, funnily enough i didnt win. was side by side for 1st and 2nd then into 3rd and he was orf 
Kinda makes me wish i'd started tuning a 1.6 instead 
What actually are the specs of the GTi's as standard?

me and whittie have been doing this tonight was using my mates gti for the night as he has borrowed la diesel beast. First race alex got ahead but i caught up (to much revs!) second attempt got traction off the line and was fairly close, gti had the edge though. This all took part on out private airfield of course

The 106 Gti officially have 120bhp & 110lb ft torque as std iirc.

I got caned by a focus rs tonight
Was never going to have a chance but baited him off of a roundabout as i want to see what it sounded like.
My verdict was very nice

xe corsa is a good match for a 106 gti. there bloody rapid. my mates 306 gti6 even looses to a 106 gti

Nissan Murano last night
He was touching my bumper practically, then the road goes to 2 lanes at a set of lights, he swerved tight to get into the inside lane to pip me so i looked up at him give a grin, he grinned , lights go green Off we go
I won, story would have been different i think if I haddnt slowed down at 75 it started to pull
