Hi guys,
Have a few queries here. I drive an Opel Corsa 1.4 (X14NE), somewhat similar to the Vauxhal Corsa B. Till now, my car has been done up with mods like port and polish job, enlarged throttle body, K&N cold air intake, 4x2x1 free flow exhaust and a Piper BP270 high lift cam.
I’m going in for some further mod jobs and need your expert opinions on this. The engine block will be bored and increased from 1400cc to around 1500cc. Bigger forged pistons will come in with conrods and a lighter flywheel. Head will be shaved a bit to increase compression and finally, a standalone performance ECU will be installed.
Please let me know what you guys think. Will these mods create any problems? Will they make a significant difference in performance? Please advise.
