been watching some videos of the above Vs each other and there doesn't seem to be a lot in it possibly due to traction?

This raises the question of is it worth the extra £1000 for a C20LET conversion?

thing is, std for std, a corsa c20let is far faster than a 20xe in the gears. must be a good 3 seconds+ in it 0-100

std for std in terms of the 2 ive owned, over a 1/4 mile the c20let is a second faster, which is actually quite a lot.

where a decision is needed for which conversion to go for and as you say you've owned both, what do you reckon is best?

Just didn't wanna get a C20XE then get bored and waste money by then fitting a C20LET. Cheers for your input.

if its your every day car and you cant be arsed fixing it or it running badly, a 20xe

edit - i should say, apart from a couple of really unfortunate incidents, i had no bothers using corsa turbo everyday actually. it did 21,000 miles in just over 2 years

owning both i would personelly say a 20xe is the better transplant option for a nova/corsa. as nic said as soon as you run anything other than standed in a turbo engine youl be forever pissing about changing things and fixing it. although power is acheived easier and cheaper possibly on a turbo engine i would prefer the car it came from (cav/cal turbo tbh)
theres plenty of na options availible although i never really threw any money at an xe so its hard to compare

id agree ben, id rather have a cav or a cally instead of a corsa turbo as a daily driver 100%
