Really happy with it, was worried about the 1.8 not being that quick but it's more than enough for a daily drive. Other than it sitting a bit high I think it looks quite nice

Got it for a good price & it's been looked after well. Just had it's 40K service which is the expensive one, so not got to do that again for ages. Just need to get used to owning a big car now

There's older ones with twice the mileage up at between 5-5.5K! This has the irmscher kit too, which wasn't intentional but it's a nice bonus I guess.

Guy who had it seemed nice enough too, he lives in Bedfordshire but was from up north so I instantly liked him

Main reason I got an SE2 is because of the interior, think it's quite cool

Good price, was never really keen on the Irmscher splitters for these though. Interior is pretty cool though.

It was on ebay, I kept watching it & it didn't meet reserve. Rang the seller within about 5 mins of the auction ending & made him an offer

Looks like you got a bargin when i was looking for one they were all about 5-5.5k for that kind of thing.


Get some ebaich (sp) springs on it and its a job done for a cracking daily drive

-30mm Eibach springs are the ones I shoud get apparently, don't want it too low
