Hi all, just bought a backbox for next to nowt off t'old ebay. Anyone have an idea how much it'll cost to get it welded on?

I'd attempt to fit it myself as I enjoy doing stuff like this but I don't own a welder unfortunately

£10-£50 ish, the problem with universal ones if they generally arent universal i.e you need to cut a weld to fit them.

IMO waste of money as you will spendmore money getting it fitted than you saved in buying it in the first place.

then get some 8mm round bar and make the hangers, weld those on and unless you have the facilities to cut and bend the right size pipe it will probably end up sticking out too far at a funny angle.

Ohh right cheers for the advice. I know a bloke who does a bit of welding so I'll probably take it down to him. See what sorta mates rates I can haggle out of him.

Thanks!
