aint got grands so i cant afford snap on prices

wheres the best place for reasonable priced tool boxes, tools etc etc, what are of good quality aswell

i know what you mean theres a tool box on the snap on van that comes round to our garage that costs £1500, go down to machine mart they seem to be the cheapist for tool boxes

Bollocks to Halfords!

Machine Mart do Clarke at good prices and in the 10 years in engineering i've never bust a Clarke tool.Bust just about every other make though.

I'm getting this to stick in the garage of our new house...

halfords all the way, i broke a step down adaptor and they even swapped that!! didnt mention i was torquing head bolts down with it

snap on is just the best quality though and with most tools you get a lifetime warranty. my snap on tool box is £2500 but i got for £1200 nice bit of kit though.

the main reason i use snap on is because i have an acount with them that i can buy loads of tools and just pay £50 a month. which is handy. plus the quality is the best going.

ive inquired about claiming vat back or some kind of tool allowance and not come up with any real answers its annoying because i have spent thousands on snap on tools. yeh the prices are dear but the tools last.

exactly why i cant afford it fuckin 30 quid for a phillips screwy and when u fuck the head the just give you a new stalk on your old handle
