depends where you go

its close enough to the seatbet mounting point to fail, but its a hit or a miss weather they fail it or not

Mine failed on it. Within 30cm of a seat belt anchorage point.

Gay repair and cost me £40 to have done. If you aren't planning on having a respray done though you'd probably need a quote for the whole quarter...

yeh lee ma filler cracked but the fibre glass never

ther is a way withoit welding!

get sone expanding foam! drill a small hole on teh crack jus big enough to put the foam in! then angle grind or sand down the rust on the crack fibreglass it over using the fibreglass filler not the kit!

it isnt an mot failure atall an is a very common fault

know few mechanics who recomended that to me! i never tried it as had already fibreglassed over which did the job

acutally it is an mot fail as on the mot computer it states that it is a common fault and to check for it but most testers leave it

I need to sort mine out too. I was going to drill a small hole at either end of the crack to prevent it from getting any bigger. Then weld it up and re paint. Just a shame having to repaint it, as I'll have to repaint both sides of the car to get it matching decently.
