Can you sell copied software?

I just bought VAGcom and a cable. The cable is a serial one (laptops dont have a plug for it

) and basically the seller is being very nasty about it. The software was on a burnt CD-R. Does this mean i can get him a telling off from ebay?

hmm.. normally, no, you cant sell copied software, but i guess all that was on the CD-R was drivers, so i doubt anyone would give a flying poo

ah, sorry.. didnt read that properly, if it's expensive software it comes with, and not just something you can download anyway, then yes, you can probably get him a spanking...

Did you not know it was serial cable before you bought it?. Usually they advertise or show it as one?

Also you can get serial to USB adapters cheap off ebay so you could use one of those.

The photo is a big clue

, You can't moan or complain about the seller about the cd-r either. You really know you could not get Vag com software for the price these sellers are offering and if it came as you expected with a USB cable, you would not have been bothered.
