As far as head skimmed, timing belt, full gasket set, water pump, tensioners etc.
Also, iirc, the shafts from a 1.2 8v are the same as the 1.4 16v ones?
Conversion from a 1.2 8v would be fuel pump, lines & ends, header tank, engine, gearbox, ECU & loom?

Do all 1.4 16v's need a transponder etc, or are there non-immobilizer ECU's?

rebuild cost even for DIY is £500+
rings: £100
oil pump: £60
water pump: £40
cam belt: £80
bearings: £80
thats £360 already

Not forgetting the specialist tools...measuring equipment etc.
Its not a case of bolting bits together and hey presto. You have to measure clearances accurately.

to do the belts and all gaskets and bits probably about 150-170

only after the P plate did corsas have transponders in the keys for emobalizers
