car itself still needs to be insured for another driver to drive it on their insurance

that is a rule they have brought it
if you type day insurance into google there are a few sites that do it, some of them are linked to the same companies but there are some that have diff rules

I think there was a thread about this a while ago. My insurance says i can drive any car 3rd party that doesnt belong to me, no mention the car has to be insured by someone else.

it is true a car needs to be insured under someones name for a named driver to drive it third party
i just dont understand how i was covered but now they wont let me, im going to biatch at them tomz and ask how on earth they let me drive 2 weeks ago and whether i was even insured
although my print out passed the police test as i got a speeding ticket the day i bought the car lol

It's insured against loss but there is no certificate so its illegal under Road Traffic Act. Plus its not insured if you get out.
