Well Where To Start?

heres how i brought it for £600




I brought this car in august 2007 from a family who had owned the car from new,I am the 3rd owner although ideally it has had 2.reason being the women who brought it from new sold it to her sister after 5 years on 5/9/2002.her sister then owned the corsa for a further 5 years until I brought it on 5/8/2007.i brought it with the intension to put a bigger engine in and have a full Re-spray with a Euro look to the car(smooth bumpers & wide wheels).I have spent endless amounts of money on this car including

• Alloy wheels with 4 new tyres
• Lowered suspension 60/40
• New opel badges, grill, calibra turbo steering wheel
• New exhaust system from cat back with letterbox tip
• New smoked headlights
• Tigra scuttle panel
• Astra mk4 side repeaters
• German pressed metal registration plates

That’s just off the top of my head, there’s more

I have put the car through an M.O.T which sadly failed the 1st time due to not being used and sitting under a tree on the previous owner’s driveway.i then spent money on correcting the problems and changed

Brakes front and back
Bulbs all round
Handbrake cable
New gaskets
Breather pipe
Air filter
Exhaust (middle section leaking)

Again there is more to mention but can not think off the top of my head

it has mot untill 15th september 2008 and tax sadly until the end of november but i can put 6 months on at buyer expense.

The only things I have not got round to doing is fitting a new cambelt as I’m not sure when the last owner changed it, but it had sat on a driveway for 2 years. considering the mileage is 116k I have nothing but praise for this car as it drives very well with no knocks, bangs or rattles and starts 1st time on the key!i brought the car with 113k and have previous mot to prove this.

Every car has a hidden past but most sellers don’t tell, I’m different !

As stated I brought this car to Re-spray and have a new engine, this was until I had the bodywork mopped at a body shop to bring the original colour back up.it now gleams its original red and is not faded.


Only bad bits I can mention are

• The o/s wing has a tiny ding ( previous owner hit a trolley bay )
• The o/s of the bumper has a tiny crack (again with the trolley bay)
• The headlight was cracked but I replaced them to pass M.O.T
• The thrust bearing is slightly tapping but if the winning bidder is willing to supply £65 on top of sale price I can get a brand new clutch and bearing on trade

Apart from the above the car is brilliant and has never let me down.it starts 1st time on the key and drives like a dream

Positive Features on the car include

• Power steering
• Sunroof
• Colour coded mirrors

1.2 8v but like jimmy said i was planning to smooth everything and have a respray and 1.6 8v put in.im after an astra mk4 nw
