Want to clean my alloys up a bit before posting a pic of them so was wondering what the best cleaner is?

I've use Muc Off and Meguairs. They are both the same chemical from what I can tell and they both work really well. Takes no effort to get the grime off. I've used Meguairs Wheel Wax before too, the results were great, but I don't think i'd wax the wheels on my daily driver very often

nothing will clean your wheels for you. you still need to scrub them so why not just use soapy water

I've got some foamy stuff, it's crap.

Normal car shampoo and a decent cloth does it all better.

tesco own stuff £2 cleans most the crap off em then a nice pressure wash and they're back to white

tbh soapy water works as well as anything, nothing gets the tar off unless u use tar remover seperately :/

traffic film remover works well but you cant leave it on the wheels for long else they turn a bit white

Not true! My alloys were in pretty bad shape, covered in brake dust, but ed lent me some chemical which you just kinda paint on, and it worked incredibly well. I'll wait for him to reply in this thread to say what it was cos I cant remember!
