Basically i have a corsa and have brought a Brabus Roadster. I am not insured on any at the moment as my policy expired and havnt been using the corsa.

Could i call up, insure the corsa for the next week or so, then on Friday next week when i pick up my new car, call them up to change it over?

The reason for this would be to minimise the initial deposit, as on the corsa the deposit is £50ish and the Brabus is £200ish, i do understand that once its changed over the monthly payments will be more than if id just paid the £200 deposit straight up.

Going to give them a ring later, was hoping to save my mobile bill, parents dont believe in paying for a landline when we all have mobiles

Was thinking Tesco inparticular.

I used to drive a sliver Lupo GTi on black wheels, dont really go up anymore but like i say will be driving a brabus roadster next week so i if go up ill keep an eye out

And yes the gearboxes are shit, but once you've learned to live with it the other features soon make up for it.

usually if the difference in an insurance policy is over the amount 1st quoted you have to pay the difference up-front

So so say theres £1000 difference in the premium between the two cars, would they not spread this money over the remaining monthly payments?
