ah got it now, every answer you can possible get is a multiple of 9.

14 , 1+4 = 5 , 14 - 5 = 9
22 , 2+2 = 4 , 22 - 4 = 18
30 , 3+0 = 3 , 30 - 3 = 27

Every multiple of 9 has the same symbol. Fuck me that took me a full night and morning to work that out!

But if you get a diff symbol it still gets it right, IE, not a multiple of 9.
