what are these like, are they reliable, as i have heard that the turbo are not very reliable. thanks

Stay away, handle poor, unreliable.. can be made reasonably quick though, if your buying just to potter about in then supose you will be safe...

Loved mine while it was working, had it upto around 170 bhp was very quick in a straight line, handling wasnt upto much though.

Only thing that went wrong with mine was a cv boot.
People seem to comment on them being unreliable without ever owning one. Like most cars, if you look after it and maintain it, it will serve you well.
I took mine up Santa Pod most weekends and it never missed a beat, unlike my Impreza which blew up on its 1st visit.
