Pros and cons of each, which is better etc. What they like with high mileage? Looking into getting one, preferably the GTi with half leather.

Rallye - lighter, rarer
GTi - more power, better spec

Depends what you're after, some people say the Rallye handles better, Steve will argue that it doesn't.

Cool, prefer the GTi i think, daily runner and all, so need some comforts. Would be S2 of course. Just need to sell my car now Anyone want it?

The GTI for me, the rallye is a great wee car as well but I like my comforts and thats the bottom line between the 2- GTI all the mod cons. Rallye- Stripped very low spec

Now just got to find a tidy one, really want yellow, is it Sunshine Yellow? But ill settle for the Blaze yellow (gold)?? or black.

I prefer the cherry red like my old one or a later spec white one with the leather. Not to keen on the gold colour they're nice in black but its a nightmare to keep clean

Sunshine yellow ones look fantastic Just avoid big puddles. Ask Steve for details.

I tried for aaaaages to buy that guys wheels off him for my GTI, he wasnt having any of it so settled for my painted speedline alloys

there is a red one down my way thats caged and slammed on what i think are pug 306 gti alloys that are sprayed black, looks really nice

The S1 rallyte box is very hard to get hold of, I personallywould just stick with the standard gti box which I never had a problem with

he thought of that
rallye's a bit kacked though. leaking water into passenger footwell. paints all scratched up. shells crabbing.

i wouldn't worry to much about getting leather as the leather is utterly shit

its not even leather anyway
