1.6 307. Looking at doing a minimum of 600 miles a week. The car is brand new, just hit 1200 miles.

Can do 110 miles to a tenner when traffic is clear in the 1.6. Mum had a 2.0 HDI and can just about get 125 to a tenner.
It wasn't worth another 3k for a diesel engine. At the time i wasn't doing much mileage either.

I've got a job starting on Monday doing 300 miles for that but just had another interview and i really wanna go there now but 500 miles a week. Depends if they offer me it and money they offer. Although that was a second interview and got shown around etc.
If i go out everynight like is used to that's 40 miles per night. I fuckin live on the M62
I'll do another 20 - 30 miles just going the shops etc per week.

I've had a quote from a company called Micromise ( http://www.autogas-micromise.com ) for the Omega, fully fitted, certified, and a courtesy car during the time was £1495 all inclusive (with 80ltr tank), so a 4cyl conversion with a smaller tank will probably be about £100 or so less.
Send them an email

I'm actually thinking that now too Adam. When compared to how long the car will last. I don't really want to keep the car more than 3 years.

Well I'm gona be doing it on the Omega when I can afford it, as I'm easily doing 600 miles a week myself... and running on LPG will make it cheaper than the train

If it is brand new you won't loose too much money on it.
How about going for something like a diesel Clio or Corsa, that gets good fuel economy, like 55mpg + ?

It was pre-registerd when i bought it saving around 4k on a brand new car. Had 2 miles on the clock when i test drove it. Someone ordered it and then couldn't finance it, lossing the garage £800 apparently.
Don't get me wrong, it costs what it costs to run at the end of the day. If i can save money then that's a big bonus and more money going into my savings fund.
I don't really wanna sell it, probably loose a fair chunk of money and i'm quite happy with the car and all its toys. I don't want another small car, this one is just the right size for what it's used for and went practical when i bought it.
