Anybody used them?
I'd like to know if anyone had used one at the pod to see how accurate they actually are

i had the older ones, they seem quite accurate as long as your on as flat a road as possible.
accurate to within 0.7 seconds

the bhp calc is a joke though, only really accurate for 0-60 or 1/4 mile

works it out from the voltage from the alternator

How? The voltage stays the same no matter how fast the engine revs.

i dont know exactly how, but you can get tachos that work out the revs from the voltage from the alternator i dont kno how accurate it is or what, but thats how they work.
maybe the alternator current pulses like an AC current or something with each turn

I was under the impression that HID bulbs are only legal in self leveling headlight that have washers on them.
As far as im told by lad here at vauxhall anyway

not sure on the washers, but auto leds say they are illegal because your replacing them with a completely different bulb type
the law is a bit mixed up like i said, but its going to be reviewed soon from what iv heard, and is more than likely going to make all these after market kits off road use only

gtet pro meter said my mates vtec would do a 1/4 mile in 11.9
oddly, when it managed a 15.3, he wasnt happy and said the timing gear was wrong.
