Just wondering if the 1.2 LS im picking up on saturday will be 8v/12v or 16v? someone told me it could only be the 8v as it's L reg....hope not! lol...?

ok good to hear...but what about speed? obviously getting a 1.2 corsa i'm not expecting 1/4 mile in 5 seconds lol but just wondering how much slower it will be compared to other corsa's out there...?

true, painfully slow, infact I'd say they are dangerously slow. (i owned one, overtaking is a full on mission.)

with great difficulty. Don't bother witha filter or an aftermarket exhaust, might actually made mine worse.

For the money you'd spend its really not worth tuning a 1.2 8v.
I had one as my 1st car and it was painfully slow. on the bright side though it'll make your next car feel really quick. My 1.4tp feels so quick in comparison even though it's not really that quick in the grand scheme.

im really fucked off now...i had a scooter about a year ago...125...tuned it to 172....and did a few things to the engine...did 1/4 mile in 15 seconds and beat every car at the lights up to about 50/60mph...now im getting a car which apparently the same performance as my gf's nissan micra 1.0  lol...what about dropping a different engine into it? 'coz i don't wanna be desperately trying to sell it after a month or two lol...

thats not too bad....so they ain't stupidly slow then...look...can any1 tell me which engine fits best and which to recommend...if i was to drop another engine in...?

mine is a 1.2 8v and is really slow but i just cope with it as i dont really go far tbh that may be a good thing tho lol.
gonna drop a 1.6 16v in once summit exspensive goes wrong with the engine.

how easy is it to stick say a 1.4 or 1.6 16v engine into it? just it just fit straight in? what else do u have to change?
