I believe it's polish then wax.
See a thread I created in General Chat. I used a Meguiars Drying Towel instead of chamois and the car came up superb! Then I normally use the Meguiars Spray Tech Wax, which is a wax and polish all in one. It works really well I've found, and it's really laborious/time consuming.
I really rate Meguiars stuff. Used AutoGylm before and not thought much to it.
