i really dont seem to care about cars anymore. im not even greatly concerned about doing my corsa anymore. i mean its been a laugh, and have a good laugh building it and driving it. but i dont know, it used to be all about cars, whereas lately, it just doesnt seem that important. if the car isnt built until middle of next year then i dont think id be bothered. my all time goal was to run at ten of the best, ive done that. im not trying to built the quickest corsa or any of that rubbish, was only doing it for fun.
dunno whats changed my opinions, maybe age. i will still do the corsa but it might just take me a long time to get motivated. i think once i get the head back i might change my mind a bit.
anyone else get to the point where theyre just not bothered anymore?

i know where your coming from nic i feel the same about my cars i drice a nice 3.2 vectra now and its fast and comfy j100 is my baby but i dunno if i can be arsed with it anymore

no, but yes. ive been thinking like this before i got a ps3, maybe thats half the reason why i got one. that could have been half the cash for an ecu, or cash for injectors etc.

im just getting to the stage were i want a car i can just drive and park up, sick of jacking cars up now and undo-in the bonnet checking everythings orite!

i disagree, ive got bluestripe tesco value from the money spent on my car. ive got performance of a car worth 10x what ive spent.

im the same,cant br bothered with the hassle of putting every penny into my car anymore,yeah like you say its fun to do but 1 you will never get the money back unless you split for parts and 2 there is better things to do then waste all your hard earned wages on your motor.ive got mine near enough how i want it apart from a closed door respray and 1.6 8v transplant.all fairly reachable goals i think
