I am getting my standard springs heated and compressed to give me a 65-70mm drop at the back and a 55-60mm drop at the front, Im droppin on 17" TSW reflex's wich are ET40 and also droppin on a predator front bumper wich caught bumps worse on standard suspension than sports suspension. 1st am I right to drop and 2 if im right to drop sud I just colour code up my standard post 97 bumper an put it back in with a debaged grill, got m3 skirts on the car and a combat 1 rear bumper.

^^^^^ what he said It'd be best to buy springs . Never heard of heating before, usually the desperate cut a coil but it is not recomended and could be dangerous. Don't do it! If your bumper catches now without lowering, it's deffo going to be worse. Colour code and debadge can look
With that, get rid of the rear bumper and colour code the whole car. Skirts could look fine but i'm not sure on that

just get a subtule bodykit that aint to big and bulky like the one your describing,
if you have the springs heated this could cause the springs to become brittel and snap or shatter when you go over a bump. = defo no go just get a set of lowering springs if you dont want to get a set of dampers aswell, but by the ammount you want to drop the standard dampars will bottom out, so you better get a full kit

i have heard of this being done before. my mate from college had a corsa gsi and had his springs heated and compressed for a 100mm drop. that car was crazy low. as far as i know he didnt have any problems with his, appart from getting over speed bumps lol.

also dont think a 70 mm drop is possible on 17s with et40 ofset. i have 17s et40 on my tigra and the front wheels stick out slightly. think i only mannaged to get a 40-50 mm drop on my coilovers.

yeah, thought it worked. My wheels dont stick out past the arches by anything, but mayb to be sure i shud just go bout 45-50 on the front, or go to a set of 16s. wat size rims he have on his car wit it bein dropped 100mm?
