i dont see how anybody feels safe in a smart car tbh

edit: I feel perfectly safe in my corsa in fact i feel safer than in boats as its done up: lowered so doesnt bounce around like boats do, better grip, better braking.... just it seems small compared to lorries etc... but i feel safe as in it

most small hatches of the same era of the Corsa/106 etc. dont particularly fill you with confidence once you start getting past 85-90.

Modern small hatchbacks feel alright but they aren't really that small anymore

I'm not a nervous passenger, but after driving my girlfriend about for so long, and now she drives, I'm scared shitless and not being in control of the car

But yeah, of course smaller cars aren't as safe and as a result, don't feel safe.

i feel safe in my car,it certainly has more of a big car feel to it now its been fully sound deadend.its much quieter than my dads honda civic especially on the motorway as it cuts out all the wind noise.

i am a big beliver in prevention is the best cure though so im going to fit some 288mm v6 brakes soon to actually make my car safer.

Andrew, if you think your Corsa feels unsafe, try something with no crash protection at all

when driving my mums A3 for a weekend, i felt so much safer in that than i do in my corsa. Much better built car, and if i was to crash in one of them then i'd hope to crash in the A3 as i dont think i would sustain as bad injuries.
