That is such a plane

Did you know they flew a couple non stop from here to Ascension Island in the mid atlantic and then on to the Falklands. Re-fuelling was done in the air by around 12 Victor tankers. Vulcan 607 was the plane that did the damage.

and XM597 was the back up plane on black buck 1, which got damaged

xm607 is now or was gate guardian at waddington, and 597 went to sunderland ? iirc

so am i........

Have you read the book JR, Vulcan 607? Very good read about the black buck missions.

I have a model of one, Always liked them, been up to one at the aircraft museum, glad to see that its back in the sky
