cutting a long story short

writ my black corsa off
declared it sorn for a while to strip it
scrap man picks it up and gives me a tenner for it, however i didnt give him the log book and i havnt seen him since



i still have the v5....and i need to declare the fooker scrapped but i have no proof it was disposed off enviromentally friendly, worried il ge a 1k fine anything i can do ? help?

declare is as scrap, its someone elses problem if it ends up back on the road

ive scraped 6 cars and neveronce asked for the log book still got one for a cally turbo and rascal van and mots for them

i've probably scrapped 50 cars in the last year never had any come back on me or if they had still been in customers names they have never come to me with problems.
Actually I have had 1 problem a chap who didnt send his log book off and when it came to tax it he ignored it so they sent him a sorn fine. I wrote to them explained it had been scrapped (chap was in his 70s and had stopped driving his panda) and that was that sorted!

£10?! £50 at least for a car up here, heard some say its nearer £90 cause the price of scrap is up
