Can i please state first that it was NOT my fault...!
Just about to go round an 40 bend, doing 40, saw that a car was on my side of the road speeding , me being in-experienced breaked, the car flew past on their side and i span onto the other side of the road and hit a sign.
Drove it back, but wasn't right, got it home and relised a flat rear tyre.
Me and me dad took the front bumper off, need new:
Bumper
Impact Bar
Radiator
Bonnet
and we're not sure if the chassis is bent
I'll upload pics soon...

Thank god that you are ok and the car is easily repairable mate. At 40mph things could of been so much worse.

not being funny but this is why young person's insurance is so steep...
Passed Yesterday - Crashed tonight!
Jesus, take it easy first time out... if the limits 40 - do 35 mph... if your taking a bend that you can't see the exit of, always be prepared for a car to be on your side of the road, or a car to be stopped in the road, someone crossing the road etc...

To be fair its better youve had your first accident so early. its a shock to the system. you wont wanna be in that situation again or worse.
sorry to hear youve been in an accident. driving is a constant learning curve tho on todays roads. lots n lots of pricks.

exactly, should of been doing a speed more suitable for the conditions, it might be a 40 corner in dry but not in wet

FFS! why do people pick faults so he looks like a knob he was in the right he wasnt speeding and some 1 was in the wrong causing him to crash his car.
how hard is it to understand it wasnt his fault

live and learn. Fault on both sides, him for being on you side and speeding, you for taking bend at that speed after just passing and in the wet.
No use blaming anyone though, as wont make any difference now. Just learn from it and take it easy.

If it's raining near you like it is down here, I'm not surprised braking was bad.

please take note of what i said in my orginal post... IN-EXPERIENCE!
I did admit that myself...
What do you guys reckon it'll cost to fix?
Or worth selling for spares/repair n buying another car?

I do agree with Paul here. When i first passed i was driving around under the speed limits being unexperienced and not wanting to write of the car i'd just paid good money for. Could only afford to insure it 3rd party at the time too. I wouldn't have taken a bend at 40 even if it did say 40 on the sign.
However, you must be gutten mate We will learn from are mistakes and experiences. Could have been worse! Least you are ok.

That's so unfortunate mate. Post a few pics up and people will be able to help out with how bad the damage is.
It's fucking slippy out there tonight tho! Had a few hairy moments myself...

He already said it... So no need for you lot to start your caper about it ffs!
If, going by your first post, it is everything but chassis damage, then it is worth keeping and repairing mate. But if the chassis is bent, tbh, take all you can off of it and scrap
