yes i was a naughty boy last night going over the speed limit (45ish in a 30) - very irresponsible of me, etc.
can someone clear up something please, can a policeman book you for speeding if he's not used any equipment to measure my speed, also if he is on his own?
i cant see how he could give me a ticket under those circumstances. incidently he didnt book me because he "didnt have any tickets" on him 
think he was the local bobby for the villages north of ipswich, seen him around before. he got really arrogant with me threatening me with 6 points for bombing it through his village...his attitude then changed when he realised i lived in the next village along lol. i did want to argue my case saying that it was only a small stretch of 30mph, and was yards from a national speed limit sign...but i remember one thing my dad taught me- never argue with a copper, be apologetic and listen to them.

why complain about it, yeh he can give you a fine for speeding, if he matches your speed to his patrol car chances are its on vid and thats all th proof he needs. yes he can run out of tickets which means you cannot be booked, did you get a producer?

he was standing on the side of the road and waved me over with his torch though. not complaining about it - he was right to pull me over as i was speeding.
nah he didnt give me a producer or anything

if there was no other officer with a gun, no he cant do you as there was no proof, he was probably just trying to scare you, bet you dont hear anything of it

Just deny everything. They dont actually know or have proof of how fast your going but once you've admitted it, they can do you for it.

If you had denied it, he cant prove what speed you were doing by eye. It wouldnt get to court.
If you admitted it, he can do you for it.
