general questions on peoples opinions...

How much power/torque do you think would be needed to be truly competitive in the club class...

In a skyline for arguments sake.

Think RK set a good example showing its about more than just power in the 2007 series.... Was that running about 500bhp?

Fee did one round last year, and has an application in for the full 2008 series.

We were running around 400-450 last year... but prob about 200 during the final (holed IC, slipping clutch, no powersteering)

I'd say around 500 would be competitive, but obviously depends on the driver. I reckon I'd need about 450 odd and well setup suspension in the Evo to be competitive.

Agree 500 and a well setup car tends to be the benchmark for the Club Class, but obviously weight has a big part to play... Just look at that Elise that came 2nd wasn't it? overall in the pro class. Thats has a mere 300 and something bhp and was competing with cars over double the power.
