and its about Vauxhall..... Again.

seems every time my car goes there they mess something up. Last week I took the car in and told them the traction control had gone wrong, they left me waiting around for 90 mins and told me it would need booking in for a full day so we arranged a new date and a courtesy car. Today the missus dropped off the car as arranged.

gave her a corsa D as a courtesy car but then asked for £8.50 for admin costs, missus said no and managed to get admin cost waived. puts key in ignition and petrol loght is flashing, asks for some petrol or another car, they give another car. Same problem, no petrol in it. they refuse another car or to put any petrol in, missus decides not to bother with the hassle and makes her own way into work.

Car is returned to her at place of work (which was nice of them) but driver didnt know if it was fixed. I ring Vaux and asked them if they had fixed it to which they replied:

No, as the car doesnt have traction control sir. I tell them it does, they sold it with traction control and it used to work. they say that their tech2 machine knows more than me and that it doesnt have TC.

its a 2005 corsa C 1.8 SRi. we have a reciept from vaux from when the car was new that says it was sold with TC.

the other annoying thing is that I waited 90 mins when it originally went in and was told that there was a fault with the TC and hence the reason it went back today.

flol I like how Vauxhall thinks a machine knows more than Tech2. You ought to make a fault Dave, take it in, they'll go "Tech2 doesn't show up anything" and you say that's because it's this, which I did, stfu.

quick update:

they have now admitted that the car should have TC. although they say that Tech2 wont pick it up.

They are now claiming that I have remapped the car and wiped out the TC system from the ECU
