dont use the orbital polisher straight away. do it by hand first, and if the results are not good enough then use the polisher.

id do the following,
Clean car
Dry
Clay Bar it
Clean it again
Dry
Autoglym Paint renovate it.
Meguires Paint Clean it, (Stage 1 from the 3 stage set)
Autoglym Super Resin Polish It
Then a good wax, such as Dodo Juice, Chemical Guys, Poorboys, Menzerna etc

I'd keep using super resin gradually to bring back the colour.

Don't use any of that stuff with a machine polisher. It's not designed for it and it will break down and get too hot.

Not sure on the make.

Its a cable orbital polisher with 12 speed settings. Not a random orbital polisher, it only spins 1 way.

get it properly machine polished, it will take off the surface oxidation which is causing the loss of colour

you may get it looking a bit better using products by hand but the results wont last long

That sounds more like a buffer mate, wouldn't attempt any kind of correctional work with it.

As steve says, get a pro with a pc or rotary to sort it for you and then all you need to do is maintain the finish.

It is actually identical to that one. Same colour n'all.

There is also one with 2 heads? That good?

The rpm has different setting. I may just leave that stuff to the valeter and do it by hand myself. Bit safer
